Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar Felicitates Top Scoring SSLC & PUC Students in Belagavi Rural

Belagavi: Karnataka's Minister for Women and Child Development, Laxmi Hebbalkar, honored more than 600 students from Belagavi Rural constituency who scored above 80% in the SSLC (10th) and PUC (12th) exams of 2024-25. The felicitation ceremony took place at her residence in Kuvempu Nagar.


Addressing the students and parents, Minister Hebbalkar congratulated the achievers and encouraged them to maintain discipline and social responsibility in their future endeavors. She noted that the government has made significant improvements in rural education over the past seven years, including the construction of classrooms, playgrounds, drinking water facilities, and the upcoming introduction of smart classrooms.


The minister also assured students that her office is ready to help anyone facing challenges with college admissions. She encouraged students or parents to directly approach her if needed.


As a special recognition, students who secured above 90% will receive cash awards through her Laxmi Tayi Foundation. Among those honored, Srushti Narayan Amatekar of Mutga village, who scored 99% in PUC, received a special mention and reward.
